Mixed-Media Armor Design Explorations./ A collection of mixed-media explorations developed, incorporating initial concept sketches, photobashing, Photoshop-based digital development, and final visual refinement with AI./ My concept design approach was inspired by the distinctive art style and creative direction of Makoto Kobayashi. Some of the artwork included below was created as a tribute to his work and carefully reproduces selected still cuts from his comic books as a personal study and expression of sincere respect for his artistic vision./ The original artwork that inspired these pieces is posted at the bottom. I’ve always loved Makoto Kobayashi’s unique mechanical designs and wanted to experiment with some of that inspiration in my own work.
